Webinar: Spatial Color Appearance and Image Difference Models (iCAM and the like)

Mar 11, 2021 | Activity, Resources

by Prof. Dr. Mark D. Fairchild

This presentation will review some highlights of the development and application of the iCAM image color appearance model and related work. This will be accomplished through the review of six publications that address a multi scale observer model (iCAM predecessor), iCAM itself, the HDR Photographic Survey, the iCAM06 revision of the model for HDR tone mapping, some recent work on perception of large color differences, and finally a very recent model called FLIP that was developed at NVIDIA. It will end with a very
brief mention of future research directions in color science.
